What’s happening inside
A mature egg is released into the fallopian tube. If it meets a sperm in the next 24 hours or so, conception happens — a single cell the size of a grain of salt.
How you might feel
You may notice clearer, stretchier cervical mucus and a slight rise in basal body temperature. Some people feel a small twinge at ovulation.
